If you allow split ends to remain they will continue up the shaft until it gets to the roots. This is one of the reasons why your hair keep shedding and snaps and a gentle touch. Always see a professional for assessments at least every 4 to 8 weeks depending on how you maintain or handle your hair at home. Each person is different and requires different timing.
