To my wonderful clients and community,

I wanted to take a moment to share some important updates regarding Shear Faith Beauty Salon.

Many of you know that I wear a lot of hats. In addition to running my business, I homeschool my children and am currently helping care for my mother as she goes through cancer treatments. Family will always come first, and this season of life has reminded me how important it is to be intentional with my time.

I've always had a heart for helping people and serving my community. For years, I have tried to accommodate everyone, keep my prices as affordable as possible, and give more than expected. However, I've realized that being constantly overbooked and underpriced isn't sustainable. It leaves me unable to give my best to my family, my clients, or myself.

To continue providing quality services and using quality products and maintaining a healthy balance, I will be updating my service menu and pricing. These adjustments reflect rising product costs, continuing education, and the time required to provide customized services.

Moving forward, I will be focusing on the services I am most passionate about:

As part of this transition, I will no longer be offering:

• Men's Haircuts
• Children's Haircuts

One of the biggest reasons for these changes is to better serve each of you. I never want clients feeling rushed through an appointment or waiting longer than necessary because my schedule is overbooked. By streamlining my services and improving my scheduling process, I can dedicate the time and attention each client deserves while keeping appointments running more smoothly and efficiently.

To make scheduling easier and more organized, all appointments will now be booked through my Square online booking link. If you are unsure of using that app please message or call for assistance. This will allow clients to view available appointments, choose services, and reserve appointments online. This change will help me better manage my schedule and ensure I have the appropriate amount of time set aside for every service.

Please note that prices listed are starting prices and may vary based on hair length, density, product usage, extension needs, and time required. Some corrective color, extension, and major transformation services may require a complimentary consultation through Messenger prior to booking.

My goal is not to become the most expensive salon around. My goal is to continue offering beautiful, professional results while creating a schedule that allows me to care for my family and serve my clients well.

I am incredibly grateful for every client who has supported my small business over the years. Your loyalty, encouragement, prayers, and understanding mean more than you know.

Platinum blonde is beautiful, but keeping it bright takes the right maintenance. ✨🤍

If you've invested in an icy blonde, what you do at home plays a huge role in how your color looks between appointments.

✨ Use a clarifying or detox shampoo 1–2 times per month to help remove mineral deposits, pollution, and product buildup that can leave blonde hair looking dull.

💜 Purple shampoo is a maintenance product, not an every wash product. Using it too often can cause blonde hair to appear flat, smoky, or uneven. Most blondes do best using it every 1–2 weeks, depending on their desired tone.

🔥 Keep hot tools between 300°F and 350°F whenever possible. Excessive heat can contribute to dryness, speed up toner fading, and cause blonde hair to look warmer over time.

✨ Toners and glosses are what give platinum hair its beautiful finish. It's completely normal for some of that tone to gradually fade with each shampoo.

💧 If you have hard water, minerals such as iron, copper, and calcium can affect your blonde and cause unwanted warmth. A shower filter and regular detox treatments can help keep your color looking fresh and bright.

The secret to healthy platinum hair isn't washing less, it's using the right products, protecting your hair from heat, and caring for your color between salon visits. 🤍
