💥Transformation💥
She came to me with a whole lot of everything going on in her hair, as one does.

She had red, black, some weird blonde in her hair.

Her end goal was an all over natural red look- a combination of copper & gold.

I told her that we were NOT going for PERFECT. We were shooting for BETTER.

After 11 hours of all the things, we had results better than expected! 🥳🥳

❓What did I do for 11 hours?
🔸We consulted, talked about hair history and her goals.
🔸I made a plan & explained it.
🔸I did clarifying treatments to loosen up those color molecules
🔸Then dried her
🔸Foiled those black lowlights to a reddish-coppery color (not blonde)

🔸Had a ton of fun while doing her hair!

Look- she came to me with some LOOOONG hairs. She wanted a shorter style & some color.

She was feeling "blah". Her hair was too long. She didn't really want to be blonde. She wanted something fun but still professional.

First thing I did was cut. Yes, I usually cut before coloring. Especially when we are doing a new cut.

When it came to color, we looked at some swatches to decide what we liked.

We really loved the dark violet color but it was a little too violet for her profession.

No worries. I did a little mixy-mixy to create a dark violet brown that pops in the sun but not at work.

This before & after we learn that the solution is not always highlights.

She came to me with light blonde hair that was damaged & breaking.

Instead of highlighting her, I put a medium blonde demi color on her roots & used that same color for a lowlight. Then I toned her blonde. This created dimension & brightened her blonde.

Sometimes blondes don't need more highlights. They just need a few lowlights & a great toner.
