Today, I’m incredibly excited to share that You’ve Got Curls is expanding, and we are officially opening the doors to our new home: Ashland Bradley Studios. 💛

What began as a vision to create a welcoming space for textured hair care and hair restoration has grown into something much larger than I ever imagined. Over the years, so many of you have trusted me with your hair journeys, your confidence, your stories, and your healing. Because of your support, we're now able to create a space designed not only for beauty services, but also for wellness, education, community, creativity, and restoration.

The name Ashland Bradley Studios holds special meaning. It honors the streets and roots my family came from—a reminder that no matter how much we grow, we never forget where we started.

One of our clients came to You’ve Got Curls and Hair Loss for a haircut and a hair loss consultation after years of thinning. During her consult, we talked through her history and I recommended bloodwork — not because I suspected anything extreme, but because hair loss often has a deeper root cause.

That bloodwork led to a diagnosis of papillary thyroid cancer.

She had no symptoms other than hair loss.

One thyroidectomy later, she’s cancer-free — and incredibly grateful it was caught before spreading to her lymph nodes.
