Don’t forget that while hunters younger than 16 don’t need a license to hunt deer, they are required to have their own tags and to report their harvest.

A base set of tags is free. To order tags, create a new account for the youth hunter in the Go Outdoors SC app or gooutdoorssc.com and choose “purchase license” in the app or “purchase licenses, permits & tags” on the website. Tags can also be requested by calling 803-734-3833 or visiting one of our licensing offices.
