I washed my hair and could NOT figure out why my 4C hair looked so stretched and elongated 😂 Then I remembered… I did an amino acid treatment about two weeks ago! My hair feels so much more manageable, and when I blew it out today, the comb attachment was gliding through my hair a lot more smoother than usual 🙌🏾✨ Definitely noticing a difference in how easy my natural hair is to manipulate.

finally got my Pre-Looped Crochet Boho Locs! 😍 I ordered 72 locs in 22 inches, and they came packaged in 3 bundles. I’m just showing you the hair straight out of the package because the install is coming next — and I cannot wait to see how these look in my hair! 🤎

Dear Black girl with 4C hair… 🤎 Maybe loving your natural hair doesn’t mean giving up the wigs, silk presses, braids, or all the other styles you love. Maybe it just means making room to love the hair underneath them too.

I’m still learning. I love my wigs DOWN 😂, I still flat iron my hair, and I have yet to wear my natural 4C curl pattern out. But I want to get there. I want there to be days when I wear my natural hair exactly as it grows—and wear it with pride.
