This past Tuesday, I had the privilege of being a judge at the 2026 SkillsUSA State Leadership & Skills Conference, Nail Care. This is something I could have only imagined doing in my wildest dreams, let alone within my first year of being in the industry.

To see so much passion, love, dedication, and motivation in one room was truly so inspiring. To see young adults with so much direction in their life, was such a feeling that fills you with so much warmth. All contests did a wonderful job! Each and every participant in any and all categories, will go far within their field. I have no doubt in my mind 🤍

This truly was such an honor and a privilege to be a part of. I get so emotional thinking about where I’m at and how far I have come. To think 1 1/2 years ago I had no direction in my life, working at my first job, watching ex classmates gear to graduate with their 4 year. To now loving my career, nearing full books, meeting new people and having experiences I never thought I’d have. Life works in crazy ways and I’m so happy this is the direction the universe took me in. It’s only up from here and I can’t wait to see what the next adventure is for me & within my career 🩷
