If you’ve been a client of mine , you know I have had some of the worst experiences in shops/salons . I want everyone to know that if I were to relocate that I have to go based of what is best for ME . Whether that’s the pricing of booth rent , high traffic areas that will bring me more clientele, and what location makes me most comfortable. You may ask “ why can’t you stay close to where I live ?” . And I have to say , it takes more than just one client to pay the bills , especially if you are inconsistent. I have to put myself first in these situations. No hard feelings but just like any other career , we all need to make money .

I recently had an experience with a client that somewhat rubbed me the wrong way ..

While servicing this client she repeatedly said she wanted her toes to look “just like mine “ . ( acrylic on all toes , square shape ) . While she soaked in the pedicure bowl , she expressed that she recently paid another nail tech 200$ for nails but couldn’t get the tech to even polish her toes with the price . I thought that was a little suspicious. As I began the service and started to drill off the polish , I then saw that she had an extreme fungus on all of her toes . She says to me “ that’s why I was scared to show you before hand “ .

I stopped the service and notified her that she will not be getting anything done to her toes today . She continues to ask for the acrylic on her toes but her toe nails were PEELING from the CUTICLE area with how bad it was . Even after explaining to her multiple times that I cannot give her any enhancements she started to have an attitude with me . She told me that she “stopped taking the medication the doctor gave her because she didn’t think it was working . So she just goes to a chop shop and they paint over it “ . She DID PAY the fee for a pedicure - she started to grab more money to “tip” but then says .. “you know what I was going to tip but i didn’t get what I want “ and left .

I just want to make things VERYYYY clear . I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT work over your nail beds if they are not healthy . I don’t care how much money you wave in my face or the attitude you have afterwards . You can’t fix broken glass with a band aid and expect the same result !

Lastly , I AM A NAIL TECH ! I do not GET RID OF , TREAT or COVER NAIL FUNGUS .
