We didn't leave the salon until after 11 on Saturday but totally worth it 🙌
Started at a level 3 and ended up with a all over vivid!

Updated openings before the 4th!
I was able to add some extra hours before I leave!

When your client moved all the way to Texas but still made time to get her hair done while back in Nebraska. 🥰 Blessed to spend time with this gorgeous girl. ✨️

We colored her hair red to match her personality: vibrant and sassy.

Her hair was colored last in November 2024.
There is still some pink hanging on!
We did a good haircut with layers to bring some volume and movement back into the hair.

Here are some tips for vivid hair colors

1. Wash hair in cooler water (warm water will cause the hair to fade faster)

2. Limit hair washing to once no more than twice per week. Dry shampoo can be used to refreshen hair and soak up oils. (Redken Deep Clean & Amika Perk Up are my favorites)

3. Use color safe shampoo and conditioner (my favorites are Biolage color safe and Verb Ghost)

4. Use heat protection products and use a lower heat setting, high heat settings will cause the hair to fade. (My favorites heat protectors are IGK Good Behavior & Redken Quick Blowout)

5. Limit heat styling to 1-2x per week (less heat = less damage and fading)
