Coming to your lash fill without cleaning your lashes is like going to the dentist without brushing your teeth 😱🫢

Lash artists use three different kinds of eyelash extension materials: mink, silk, and synthetic. Some studios also carry "faux mink" extensions, which are technically just synthetic extensions that mimic mink extensions. Most lash studios have their preference for the type of lash extension they use and won't always ask you if you have a preference. So if you're vegan or allergic to cats, be sure to specifically request that mink lash extensions are not used on you. No lash extension type lasts longer than the other, but mink and silk lashes tend to have a more natural look, while synthetic lashes can be thicker and darker, which is better suited for those who want a bolder look.

"All about that base, 'bout that base", no chunky bases! Thick lash bases case damage and pulling to natural lashes. Thin bases ensure we don't have stickies and lashes can grow out without pain or bending.

Strip lashes and lash extensions are very different. Lash extensions are individually applied to your natural lashes, not the skin, and with different adhesives. If you pick or pull your extensions, you will most likely pull out your natural lash which will damage the hair follicle and can prevent the lashes from growing. If you no longer want lashes, or yours are bothering you, please come in and I can remove them for you will professional lash extension remover that won't cause any damage to your natural lashes! We want to keep your natural lash babies happy🌟

The only drama we like is in our lashes, right girls?🖤

Um no. Myth. Not even close to the truth. In fact, please please wash your lashes everyday! This will improve your retention, keep your fans open (if you have volume), and stop you from getting infections! After a full set or fill I usually ask that you don't drench your lashes or go to a sauna for the next 12 hours. Other than that, your lashes should let you do everything you do on a normal basis!

As a side note, if you are constantly in a super steamy environment, your lashes will shed faster due to the high water and mineral content of the air. Other than that, you are good to go, my butterflies!

Most people will fall asleep during their service whether it is a full set of lash extensions or a fill. Who doesn't love lash naps?! You should wake up with gorgeous lashes! Lash application should be gentle and not hurt at all. If you are not feeling relaxed, let your lash tech know what they can do to help improve your experience (hearts)
