We are hiring and have been trying to hire more help for a loooong time. I understand that it’s frustrating for our clients that haven’t been able to get in. Please be patient with us and every other business that’s going through shortages right now. We just made it through a nightmare pandemic year as a small business, only to realize that it’s not over. We will do our best to accommodate you. We won’t just hire to fill chairs, we are always looking for quality over quantity. Sydnie LaRue Porter was born on August 20, 2008. She is 11 years old. Her hobbies include swimming, playing the violin and piano, hanging out with friends, and reading. She was diagnosed with cancer on November 12, 2019. We later learned it was Chronic Myeloid Leukemia. This condition is slow progressing cancer that begins in the bone marrow caused by a chromosome mutation that occurs spontaneously. Doctors aren’t sure what causes the mutation. It is usually found in adults, although it is incredibly rare. It is even further rare in children. Symptoms include bleeding easily, hair thinning, fatigue, weight loss, pale skin, and night sweats. The symptoms Sydnie has been experiencing include weakness, hair thinning, skin rashes, and constant aches and pains. The treatment options are targeted drugs, stem-cell transplant, chemotherapy, and biological therapy. Since her diagnosis Sydnie has been on two different chemo medications, had multiple blood transfusions, and regular doctor visits and stays. Despite the obvious toll this has on her, Sydnie still manages to spend every day smiling and finding ways to have fun and be that same go lucky girl she has grown up to be. GameKutz is honored to be able to give back to someone in our community after the tremendous support we received from cache valley during this Covid 19.
