I gave her a natural looking balayage and an elegant style. It was perfect for her dance!

I had the privilege of doing this sweet lady’s hair yesterday for the first time!
She wants to transition to gray, so I slightly lightened her root color (and left the ends to let them fade) and then put some blended highlights to slowly start getting her lighter.
And then i razor cut her a-line haircut back into shape.
We love how it turned out!

Did you know that color doesn’t usually lift color through
“box dyed” haircolor?

She had a boxed dye brown color on her hair, and wanted to add some dimension to hair.
This makes it a corrective color when trying to lift through boxed dye. And so getting an “even color results” can’t be guaranteed.
But I put some copper in it, and adjusted the formulas for different areas throughout.

RESULT: The color lifted evenly and beautifully!!
Even through the boxed dye. We love how it turned out and it’s SO pretty with her eyes and skin color!

Added some dimension to her “mostly blonde” hair. We love how it “cooled down” her blondes without toning it!

It’s amazing what a “gloss” and stylish bob cut can do!
She has the best hair! Loving these results!
