Hair Tips Overheard at the Beauty Parlor
1) Add Bounce
Crush an aspiring to a Tbsp of shampoo; acid amps up the shine and removes excess coating the hair, making it extra big and bouncy.
2) Deep Condition
Massage a doll up of Duke’s mayo into the lower half of your strands, and leave it in for 5 minutes before shampooing.
3) Boost Shine
Avocados grow in many parts of the South and make the ideal post-shampoo treatment. Mash the ripe fruit, leave in your hair for 10 minutes, and rinse.
4) Sleep on a silk pillowcase to keep humidity-induced frizziness at bay.
5) To get a Texas-size blowout without a stylist, blow-dry your upside down and then back-comb until your arm aches.
