Why your mental health isn't about "mental health"?
"Just like physical hygiene, we need emotional hygiene — the most important." -The Dalai Lama
Why does the mental illness epidemic continue to rise despite trillions spent? Because it's not a "mental health" problem. It's a daily emotional hygiene problem. It's caused by thousands of daily emotional stressors (like fear of people, despair of the future, worries about money and health, shame from social comparison, disconnectedness from childhood trauma, anxiety about heavy workloads and deadlines to pain from relationships), that skyrocket chronic stress, daily cortisol buildup, emotional dysregulation, then toxic inflammation — that cascade into bad mental and physical health.
It's like neglecting your oral hygiene. Do you think just visiting a dentist once a week will cure that if you're not doing daily brushing...?
Seeing a "therapist" once a week won't deliver emotional hygiene either. Thus, our mental illness epidemic.
"'Therapy' is neurobiological nonsense." — Prof. Dr. Bruce Perry, MD, PhD.
In fact, psychotherapy is shown by objective studies to radically raise stress hormones in most patients. Thus, damages emotional hygiene.

The masses are being led to follow dogma, not data.
When and who invented "talk therapy"? This antiquated practice was concocted in the 1800s by Sigmund Freud, who admitted to his close friend Wilhelm Fliess that these weekly talk sessions has suckered rich society women in Vienna.

Do you use a 1800s horse buggy or a modern car for daily transportation? Telegraphs or a smartphone? Then how silly is it to use Freud's antiquated "therapy"?
Psychotherapy is pseudoscience.
The American Psychological Association has quietly admitted for decades that psychotherapy outcomes depend on the actual therapist dispensing the "therapy." So, 1000 therapists delivering "CBT" yields 1000 different results. If it can't be standardized, it can't be truly compared and measured. And if it can't do that, it's not science.

It's no wonder "mental illness" continues to rise despite trillions spent on the "mental health" system.
In addition, sleep (a non-starter), meditation, support groups, socializing to "self-help" can't deliver sufficient emotional hygiene either.
You are designed to be happy and healthy. You just need to adopt daily emotional hygiene — the missing link in wellbeing: 10-minute co-regulation with caring others. Simple.

Have you tried all the conventional methods and still not at wellbeing? You're hardly alone. In 2025, the CDC reported, for the first time in history, sickness has overtaken humanity with 9 in 10 now suffering chronic physical and mental illness, despite spending a whopping $100 trillion in just the past decade on a plethora of pros, pills, programs, tips, tricks, treatments, gadgets, gizmos to gurus.

What's the truth about conventional cortisol cleanses/detoxes?
Good sleep: A non-starter. People with high cortisol can't sleep well
Yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, psychotherapy, psychedelics, cardio exercises, somatic exercises, tai chi, tapping, cold plunges, nutrition, pills, socializing, support groups; all these are insufficient in lowering daily cortisol buildup, and many actually raise cortisol, as top studies show.

Why your mental health isn't about "mental health"?
Why does mental illness continue to rise despite trillions spent? Because it's not a "mental health" problem. It's a emotional health problem from daily cortisol buildup and emotional dysregulation caused by thousands of daily emotional stressors — fear of people and political corruption, worries about money and health, shame from social comparison and social threats, disconnectedness/numbness from emotional health neglect, anxiety about workloads and deadlines, and pain from relationship problems.
Thousands of daily emotional stressors compounded by daily emotional health neglect is the real cause of bad mental health, and no weekly psychotherapy cures that.
It's like neglecting your oral health by not brushing daily. Then plaque builds up. Do you think just visiting a dentist once a week will cure that? Of course not. You need daily oral health care.
Seeing a "therapist" weekly won't cleanse your daily cortisol buildup neither.
