Every once in awhile you meet a living being who reminds you that your life is pretty darn great. In my arms is the beautiful and adventurous Piglet! She was rescued by my bonus daughter who is the matriarch of QBSDR]. Piglet is albino and was born blind and deaf due to irresponsible backyard breeding. She stole everyone’s hearts at our Thanksgiving gathering! She moves through life in the present and despite her challenges she is fearless, adventurous and sooooo loving!!! We can all learn something from her indomitable spirit. So grateful to have met this little bundle of joy! To follow her progress follow QBSDR]! View from my window... It’s nice to be back to work! Facials are fun and I am enjoying the process. I just need to remain mindful of how hard on my body this work is. Regular stretching and work with a fascia ball between clients is required for me to function. Naps when I have time are great, too. Self-care everyday, even for a few minutes, is great!

It’s supposed to be for 3 weeks but with the way the numbers are now and with ICU capacity at zero, I doubt I will be open at all in December. It’s been rough.
