Hey there! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful and busy Derby week! I want to remind you that I will be in my new salon home on MAY 10th! So beginning next week all appointments will be at Pothos Hair and Co. in historic Middletown. There is parking in front and on the side of the salon!

Below you will find the salon's address as well as my updated service menu! I am still working with my new booking system to update my online booking option, it will be up and running next week! So for the time being if you need to adjust your appointment you can contact me directly via text or email, please still honoring my 24 hour cancellation policy.

Time: 30 min. Investment $60
Express Package
This service is if you are needing one of the following: haircut and style,
gloss refresh + blowout, express grey root touch up- color only no hair cut or style
Time: 60 min. Investment : $120

Shine and Shape Package
Designed to revive your hair with this custom toning gloss and haircut, or base retouch, fringe trim and blowout
Time: 1.5 hrs. Investment: $180

Maintenance Package
Maintain your existing base color, or add some brightness around your face. This service includes everything your hair needs, including custom hair cut and signature blowout and style.
Time: 2 hrs. Investment: $240

Refresh Package
A refresh application of balayage or highlights to your current color. This service includes everything your hair needs, including base refresh if needed, custom hair cut and signature blow out and style

The Works Package

Transformation Package
A global transformation color service for a dramatic change. From dark to light a double process or corrective color. This includes everything necessary to get you to your dream hair in one session.

I am so excited to share my next chapter with you all! I am joining the amazingly talented and beautiful team and getting back into Middletown! I can not contain how excited I am to begin this journey on MAY 10th and join in on the vibe this gorgeous salon has!

Big Update for You!

Hey there!
I want to first take the time to thank you for you unwavering support in all of my endeavors as a stylist. I would not be the artist I am today with out you supporting all of my dreams. So sincerely from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much!

With that being said I want to let you know that after Derby week, I will no longer be working at House of Wax Studios. Starting on May 10th 2022 I will be joining the team at Pothos Salon in Middletown. The time has come for me to embark on this new chapter and amazing opportunity to work along side some incredibly talented stylist, grow my career as a Pureology Educator, as well as give each of my clients the luxurious salon experience you deserve.

What does this mean for your next appointment?

Booking appointments?
Don't panic, not much will change for you if you have an appointment already scheduled, as my availability is the same. That appointment time still stands, and as always if you need to change anything you can reach out to me to do so. I will still be booking all my appointments, offering online scheduling and will be your main contact person. I will be utilizing a new booking system with the move, but I can assure you it will be just as easy to use as Square!

Services?
As our industry evolves to a truly customized look for each guest, booking the correct service can get pretty confusing! This is where booking for time just makes so much sense. Now instead of combing through a list of Al a Carte services, I will be booking and charging hourly! I will be sending a link to my service menu closer to May 10th to not confuse anyone coming before the move.

Why Hourly?
My hourly rate will be $120 an hour with each appointment being custom tailored to you, so you will be able to get everything you need done in one session! Meaning all the services you need done for your hair, like color, haircut, treatment. gloss, even eyebrows, everything is all inclusive to your session. I will be able to quote you a time before getting started and while booking so that you aren't surprised by your ticket at check out! This also eliminates the stress of trying to calculate gratuity! With the all inclusive pricing method factoring in the value for time and talent, it will eliminate that option for you.

I am aware that everyone has a budget for their hair so, if you feel like this will start to be out of your budget, please reach out to me and I can help recommend you to another stylist!

Happy New Year Friend!

I hope your 2022 is off to a beautiful and healthy start! As we find February is quickly approaching I wanted to send you a quick update on everything going on in the studio!

First a policy update, as of January I will no longer be accepting Venmo, CashApp or Checks as a form of payment for your services and products. This is just in an effort to stream line all my payments and truthfully make my taxes simpler! I appreciate your understanding on that!

Second with Covid cases on the rise and all of us wanting to stay well I ask that you please only come to your appointment if you are feeling 100% well! I know this is a really stressful and maybe scary time for all of us, so I want to preserve our beautiful, relaxing time together by keeping our visits completely Covid free!

With growth comes change and I am so thankful to be growing and changing with you! As announced in my previous email I have been working hard to create a new service menu that will prioritize your hair's health as well as leave you feeling your absolute best!

I have attached my new updated basic service menu below that will be in effect Dec. 1st. I will give you one at your next visit to take home as well, if you do not see your service please refer to my website for further updates. My shampoo, cut and style services now include a customized conditioning treatment formulated just for your hair type! All of my hair cutting services for clients who do not receive a shampoo will receive a customized leave in treatment just for your hair type.
All of my color clients, don't you worry you will also be receiving a personalized Pureology Anti - Fade conditioning treatment that will leave your hair looking and feeling its best for even longer, in addition to Olaplex!

That is not even the best part you all! As a big huge THANK YOU I will be gifting these treatments to you all month long! ✨ Embrace your flaws and imperfections ✨

There is something really beautiful about being uniquely broken. With our training we learned how to encourage artists and clients to see their own imperfections as something to love about themselves. This experience was the perfect metaphor for that! Together we broke our pottery and took time to beautifully mend our pieces back together to make something even more special.

This reality can be a tough place to show your flaws with pride, but let’s do our best to remember just how wonderful those flaws make us!
