NEWS:
The CIA was suppressing information about methods that are effective for treating … and how interesting it is that exactly what they have been keeping hush hush about are the methods I have been using with the cancer patients I assist - and seeing an incredibly high level of success, in some difficult cases seeming nearly miraculous.

A declassified CIA document from February 1951 was marked CONFIDENTIAL and remained classified until 2014.

It summarizes a 1950 scientific paper and outlines clear biological similarities between malignant tumors and certain parasites, including intestinal worms.

• Both thrive in low-oxygen conditions.

• Both store large reserves of glycogen.

• Both produce energy efficiently with very little or no oxygen present.

The report highlights several key points:

• Tumors and parasites function as “aerofermentors.” They generate energy effectively in oxygen-poor settings and survive in nearly oxygen-free environments. This matches the low-oxygen cores commonly seen in solid tumors and the oxygen-limited conditions inside the gut where many parasites live.

• Early experiments tested compounds designed to target parasites and discovered they also impacted tumors.

• These observations show that treatments effective against parasites can cross over to cancer because of the shared biology.

This directly aligns with the known actions of and - both powerful antiparasitic drugs with powerful anticancer properties.

How These 5 Interventions May Help Prevent Preeclampsia

Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication characterized by high blood pressure and signs of organ stress (often kidney involvement) after ~20 weeks.

Preeclampsia is primarily driven by:
• Endothelial dysfunction
• Placental ischemia / hypoxia
• Oxidative stress
• Mitochondrial dysfunction
• Impaired vascular signaling (NO / prostacyclin imbalance)
• Abnormal maternal inflammatory response

Each of these interventions targets one or more of these root mechanisms.

1. High-Dose Thiamine (Vitamin B1 – ~100 mg)
Mechanisms relevant to preeclampsia
Improves mitochondrial energy production

Thiamine is a cofactor for:
• Pyruvate dehydrogenase
• Alpha-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase
• Transketolase

These regulate:
→ Placental ATP production
→ Fetal nutrient delivery
→ Maternal vascular metabolism

Preeclampsia shows features of placental mitochondrial failure.

Reduces lactic acidosis and hypoxia signaling
Low thiamine → increased lactate → worsened placental hypoxia cascade.

Supports endothelial nitric oxide production
Better glucose oxidation = improved endothelial function.

Evidence signal
• Observational links between low thiamine and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
• Thiamine improves vascular tone and autonomic balance

2. Vitamin C (2–5 g as Ascorbic Acid)
Mechanisms
Reduces oxidative stress in placenta
Preeclampsia placentas show:
• Excess ROS
• Lipid peroxidation
• Reduced antioxidant capacity

Vitamin C:
→ Regenerates glutathione
→ Protects endothelial nitric oxide
→ Reduces vascular inflammation

Improves endothelial barrier integrity
Helps prevent:

• Proteinuria
• Capillary leak
• Placental microvascular injury

Why a “wandering nerve” dictates your stress response, digestion, immunity, mood, and more — and how science shows you can strengthen it naturally and with technology.

If You Fix This Nerve, You Fix the System

The Most Misunderstood Nerve in the Body

Imagine a communication network running from your brainstem down through your neck, into your chest and abdomen — connecting to your heart, lungs, digestive system, immune system, and even mood regulation centers.

That’s the vagus nerve — cranial nerve X — and it’s one of the most important yet under-appreciated parts of the human nervous system.

Derived from the Latin word vagus, meaning “wandering,” the vagus nerve literally wanders through your body, transmitting information back and forth between your brain and organs, regulating stress responses, digestion, inflammation, and emotional state.

I decided to invest in a vagus nerve stimulator to help with my insomnia and digestion issues. After losing my mom abruptly to a very quick pancreatic cancer diagnosis I developed a panic disorder that eventually lead to several months of unpredictable insomnia. I knew I needed to work on my digestion and anxiety because I felt these two factors were contributing to my sleep disturbances. After much research and speaking with my functional medicine doctor, I landed on getting a vagus nerve stimulator. I wore the stimulator everyday for 30 days for 10 minutes before bed. I didn’t miss a day and after 30 days I was standing in my kitchen and looked at my husband and said “oh wow I can’t remember the last time felt anxious.” He kindly replied “I know babe. You’re doing so much better.”

Not only had the vagus nerve stimulator helped my anxiety it gave me my sleep back. I have since then lent out the device countless friends in hopes of helping them heal their digestion, sleep, and anxiety.

Today, we’re going to break down:

• What the vagus nerve does (in accessible language)

• What vagal tone means

• How to naturally stimulate and heal the nerve

• The science behind vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) devices

• Foods and supplements that help regulate vagal function

• Practical daily practices based on research

For centuries, dandelion root has been used as a foundational detoxifying herb in traditional systems of medicine across Europe, Asia, and Native American traditions. What many people consider a simple yard w**d is actually one of the most respected botanical allies for liver and kidney health.

Scientifically known as Taraxacum officinale, dandelion root is rich in bitter compounds, inulin (a prebiotic fiber), polyphenols, potassium, and sesquiterpene lactones — all of which contribute to its detoxifying and metabolic benefits.

The root extract, often consumed as tea or supplement, contains bioactive compounds such as sesquiterpene lactones, polysaccharides, and phenolic acids, which are thought to contribute to its potential anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer properties.

Let’s break down what that actually means for your body.

In my article on Substack we go over dandelion root and liver, kidney, and metabolic health, and its role in cancer prevention and treatment.

High-dose folic acid supplementation, particularly resulting in high levels of unmetabolized folic acid (UMFA) in the blood, is associated with suppressed natural killer (NK) cell cytotoxicity.
Studies in older mice and postmenopausal women indicate thatexcess folic acid reduces NK cell function, which is critical for identifying infected or cancerous cells.

Stop taking folic acid and let’s start understanding folate!

Folic acid (FA) supplements and food fortification are used to prevent neural tube defects and to lower plasma homocysteine. Through exposure to food fortification and vitamin supplement use, large populations in the United States and elsewhere have an unprecedented high FA intake. We evaluated dietary and supplemental intakes of folate and FA in relation to an index of immune function, natural killer cell (NK) cytotoxicity, among 105 healthy, postmenopausal women. Among women with a diet low in folate ( 400 microg/d had reduced NK cytotoxicity compared with those consuming a low-folate diet and no supplements (P = 0.02). Prompted by this observation, we assessed the presence of unmetabolized FA in plasma as a biochemical marker of excess FA. Unmetabolized folic acid was detected in 78% of plasma samples from fasting participants. We found an inverse relation between the presence of unmetabolized FA in plasma and NK cytotoxicity. NK cytotoxicity was approximately 23% lower among women with detectable folic acid (P = 0.04). This inverse relation was stronger among women >or= 60 y old and more pronounced with increasing unmetabolized FA concentrations (P-trend = 0.002). Because of the increased intake of FA in many countries, our findings highlight the need for further studies on the effect of long-term high FA intake on immune function and health.

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy: History, Cellular Healing & Research

Growing up in Kentucky, I was surrounded by horse racing, farms, and a deep respect for animal health and recovery. I first learned about PEMF therapy when I heard how it was helping racehorses recover from injuries more quickly so they could return to the track sooner. Later, during my orthopedic rotation in PA school, PEMF came up again—this time in a clinical context—as a beneficial therapy for non-union fractures and an FDA-approved treatment option.

Years later, after developing a chronic COVID infection, I found myself struggling with significant systemic inflammation. As I searched for solutions, I realized that one of the leading medical-grade PEMF companies, MagnaWave/AuraWave, originated in my own city. I even used their website as a research source for this article.

I soon found a physical therapy clinic offering PEMF sessions at an affordable rate and committed to a 25-session package. I noticed tangible benefits after just three sessions. That experience alone convinced me that investing in my own PEMF device was not a matter of if, but when.

What Is PEMF?

PEMF therapy uses carefully controlled pulsed electromagnetic fields to influence biological processes. Unlike static magnets or everyday electromagnetic exposure (from phones, Wi-Fi, etc.), PEMF devices generate specific waveforms and frequencies designed to interact with cellular electrical activity.

According to MagnaWave, PEMF can pe*****te deep tissues, stimulate cells, and boost cellular metabolism, which underlies many of the observed therapeutic effects.
