A recent case report evaluated Collagen P.I.N.® microneedling + TRUExosomes™ PRX⁸ Plant-Exo Stimulation Serum in a 62-year-old patient with longstanding melasma who had previously failed hydroquinone and tranexamic acid.
After 4 treatments spaced 2 weeks apart, her estimated mMASI score improved from ~8 to ~4 — approximately 50% improvement, with no reported adverse events, including PIH.
This case highlights the potential of combination protocols for treating stubborn pigmentation in skin of color, while emphasizing the importance of thoughtful treatment approaches.
