A client came to me after paying $60 for what she was told were “lash clusters.” When we removed them, we found a lash strip glued together with what appeared to be hair bonding glue instead of adhesive designed for the eye area. Not only did this make removal difficult, but products not intended for lashes can increase the risk of irritation, damage to your natural lashes, and an uncomfortable experience.

This client has been coming to me consistently every 3–4 weeks for the past 5 months, and her retention stays amazing because she takes care of her lashes at home. I just wanted to show off her beautiful natural lashes after wearing lashes for months straight. Her natural lashes have always been naturally full and healthy. Lash shedding is completely normal, but excessive gaps and damage shouldn’t be!
