Being a hair stylist is funny because I can talk ALL. DAY. LONNNG.
Give me a client in my chair and suddenly I’m a professional storyteller, therapist, comedian, weather reporter, and breaking-news correspondent! I have WORDS. SO. MANY. WORDS.

But, put a camera in front of me and apparently… I no longer speak English!

“Okay, just talk naturally,” they say.

Naturally?! I have forgotten every word I’ve ever learned!

Trying to create content that’s actually worth watching while remembering to say all the right things, look the right way, smile at the right time, not make a weird face, remember what I was talking about, AND somehow make it look effortless…

Meanwhile, my brain: ERROR !WORDS NOT FOUND!! 😭

And let’s not even talk about the 47 takes where I say the wrong thing, stare awkwardly into the camera, completely lose my train of thought, or somehow manage to sound like I’ve never done hair a day in my life. 😂

The irony is REAL.

I LOVE creating content. I LOVE sharing hair tips. I LOVE connecting with people.

I just wish the camera would stop making me feel like I’ve suddenly been asked to give a TED Talk in a language I don’t speak. 🤣

So if you see me stumbling over my words, laughing at myself, or completely losing the plot… just know I’m probably on take #17.
Because sometimes creating content is less “professional hair stylist” and more “woman trying desperately to remember what she was about to say.” 🤣🎥
And honestly… sometimes it’s just too funny NOT to post.
