A lot of times we feel like we'll feel worthy when....we get a new job, or that promotion, or finally stick to a diet, or finish all your tasks on your to-do list, and the list goes on.
Why not just decide to feel worthy now? Instead of setting yourself up with a mountain of conditions that need to be satisfied BEFORE you feel worthy, set yourself up for success by acknowledging that you are, in fact, worthy right this moment.
Say this mantra to yourself in the mornings, better yet---say it to yourself in the mirror, and see how amazing the power of your words can be.

Great question! While you may feel less stressed, anxious, and sore after just one float, creating an ongoing float practice will bring the most benefits. The benefits of floating, just like most other self care practices, have a cumulative effect. Most of our guests float once or twice a month, and some float weekly. Adding a float session to your monthly or weekly routine can bring amazing results for mind, body, and spirit.
How often do you float?

Why is floating so powerful?
When you practice feeling calm in the float tank, it's more likely you can find that feeling of calm when presented with difficult situations in the real world. If someone cuts you off in traffic on the way to work, maybe you don't get agitated and yell at them -- maybe you harness the feeling of calm you've practiced in the float tank and you don't let it affect your day. The possibilities are endless!
Give yourself the chance to feel calm, and see how wonderful it can be.

We often think that we'll feel better or find time to rest when we finish all the things we have to do. But just like the waves in the ocean, those things don't stop. They crash and recede repeatedly. You just have to learn how to find peace amidst it all - the waves, the never-ending list of things you need to do, and all that surrounds you. Practice. Practice. Practice. That's why we're here.

Positive mantras are a wonderfully effective way to start your day on the right track. Mantras are just phrases that spark a shift in your mind, and can be said or repeated throughout the day, during meditation, or in the evening as you fall asleep. The best way to approach mantras is by already assuming they are true, and go from there. There should be no feeling of pushing against, but of total acceptance.
Decide to be centered and at peace, and you will be. And if you don't feel that yet, that's okay! It's a practice and will get easier with time.

That's pretty much the way most people describe what it feels like when they "drop in" to a float. You're sorta there - not fully awake, but just barely aware that you're not asleep.
It's a beautiful break for your brain to get to rest in that blissful state.

Think about it. Did anyone ever TEACH you how to rest, relax, or care for yourself? Probably not. And maybe that's why so many of us feel terribly guilty when we take time for our own care. We were taught to show up for work, do our best in school, use our manners, eat 3 meals a day, but never to prioritize our own health and wellness.
Floating is a great way to do that.
