𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝?

Mandelic Acid is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid)

AHAs work by breaking down the "glue" that holds dead skin cells together, allowing them to shed easier to reveal fresher, healthier skin cells underneath. This leads to a brighter and smoother complexion. AHAs help to unclog pores, improve skin texture, discoloration, scarring, sun damage, and dark spots.

There are multiple different types of AHAs, like glycolic and lactic acid. However, in comparison to other AHAs, mandelic acid is a larger molecule, about twice the size of glycolic acid and slightly larger than lactic acid. The larger molecular weight of mandelic acid makes it an extremely gentle and easy to tolerate AHA.

A cleanser is a great way to introduce a new ingredient into your skin care routine! This 3% Mandelic cleanser can be used daily

Waxing can be less aggravating to your skin than shaving, which can cause razor burn and ingrown hairs.
Unlike shaving, waxing removes hair from the root. This means you will feel smooth for weeks, while shaving only lasts a day or two.
Once you've established a waxing routine you will start to notice the hair will take longer to grow back in, start to thin out and become less noticeable.
Fall & Winter is the best time to start since you have to allow your hair to grow out some before your appointment, this will also have you seeing amazing results come Spring & Summer!

I always like to mention that hair grows in three stages, you typically will start to see the pros of waxing after your third appointment for that reason!
