That’s our girl Carlin Whaley! We are so proud of all of her accomplishments so far and can’t wait to see what her futures hold! We know it will be bright 🕶️☀️🌅 with her positive attitude, fun personality, and work ethic Her books will be open before you know it! In the mean time, she is apprenticing right beside our seasoned stylists and taking in all the advanced education we offer to prepare for her career!

Dreams have a funny way of finding us when we're ready to chase them. 💙

For Carlin Whaley, cosmetology has always been more than a career. What started as braiding teammates' hair and styling friends throughout college slowly revealed a passion that never faded. Although she originally planned to pursue a degree in sports marketing, she couldn't ignore the joy she found in making others feel confident and beautiful.

After exploring several cosmetology schools, Carlin chose Texarkana College because she wanted more than just an education. She wanted a place where she felt supported, valued, and at home. ✨

Today, she's working toward a future where she can brighten someone's day with every appointment, build lasting relationships with her clients, and help people feel beautiful in their own skin. Her journey reminds us that it's never too late to follow the path that's meant for you.

We're so excited to have Carlin as part of the Texarkana College Cosmetology family, and we can't wait to see all she accomplishes! 💇‍♀️💙

First up is our owner and creative director, Ashley Talley! 🤍

With 24 years in the beauty industry, Ashley has built Serenity on the belief that every guest deserves exceptional service and a place that feels like A Getaway Without Going Away. Her journey began as a teenager at the front desk and has grown into owning one of Arkansas’ most recognized salon and spas. Her passion for leadership, hospitality, and creating a culture where both our team and clients feel genuinely valued is the heart behind everything we do.

✨ Welcome Massage Therapist Sarah Pyle to the Serenity Team! ✨

Sarah has been practicing massage therapy since 2011 and has traveled to Watford, England, Costa Rica, and Ubud, Bali, Indonesia to further her education in massage therapy, Thai bodywork, and yoga.

Over the span of her 15 year career, Sarah has also achieved Level II Thai Yoga Practitioner, a 250-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and a masters degree in teaching.

Additionally, she has specialized training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Lomi Lomi, and Table Thai.

Sarah describes her massage style as a blend of Swedish massage and Lomi Lomi with the incorporation of Thai-inspired table techniques, creating a relaxing yet therapeutic experience tailored to each guest.

Today, Sarah is grateful to be doing what she loves at Serenity, where she uniquely combines years of education, international training, and a passion for helping others feel their very best.

➡️Sarah officially begins seeing clients on July 23rd and then she will be available from 9:00-7:00 every Thursday. She’s now accepting new clients! ⬅️
