We had been leaning into her natural grey, but this time she was ready for a different direction.

So we went in with an all-over color to bring back richness and coverage, then added highlights to keep the result dimensional instead of flat.

Grey blending is beautiful when that’s the goal. Full coverage is beautiful when that’s the goal. Hair should fit the person sitting in my chair — not whatever trend says she’s “supposed” to do.

Sometimes the appointment isn’t about changing everything. It’s about making what you already have look really, really good. 🤍

We refreshed her dimension with a partial highlight, took about 4 inches off her length, and kept her cut blunt and one length with no layers. Finished with a sleek blowout for that healthy, polished finish. ✨

Low-maintenance color + a fresh cut will forever be one of my favorite combinations.

And yes, I mean THREE HOURS just to put the foils in.

Every single piece of hair was foiled to create alternating ribbons of blonde, black + orange throughout her entire head. No underneath panel, no little peekaboo section. The whole thing. 🖤🧡

The coolest part? When her hair falls naturally, all three colors melt together into this ridiculously dimensional fall color. Then you lift it up and you can really see everything hiding in there.
