Here’s something we rarely get to show: the same SMP in this many different lighting conditions.

Look at the beach shots, then the arcade shade. These different lights can quickly expose mistakes. Too light, and the SMP becomes difficult to see in direct sun. Too dark, and it can look heavy in shade. Great work finds a balance across them all.

But first, congratulations to my client turned friend and his beautiful wife! They met between his first and second sessions with me. Pretty cool to have been part of that chapter. Thank you both for letting us use these beautiful photos.

I just wish he’d invited a little more anti-shine to the wedding. 😂

For context: complete Norwood 7 hair loss, with no hair on top to soften the light. Original SMP finished in February 2024, touch-up in late 2025, photos from summer 2026.

My technique has evolved considerably since then, but I’m happy to see how this work has held up.

Over the last year, something changed.

Not the demand…
The time.

Each session today takes significantly longer than it used to — more detail, more precision, more focus on long-term results. The standard went up… so the time had to follow.

And pricing has to reflect that.

We’ve kept our studio outside the city on purpose — to give you top-tier results without city-level pricing (which would easily push this north of $5K).

But there’s a tradeoff most people don’t see:

More time per client = fewer available spots.

Without adjusting pricing, the waitlist stretches… and people end up waiting months just to get in.

That’s not the experience we want.

This change helps us:
• Keep wait times reasonable
• Maintain the level of detail we’re known for
• Work with clients who choose us for the work — not proximity

At the end of the day, nothing changes where it matters.

You’re still getting one of the best results in the country.
