FUN FACT ABOUT ME…

Proof that I actually had some style back in the day.

I’ve always loved being a little different. I never really wanted to dress like everyone else. I liked putting things together my own way and wearing things that maybe not everybody else would.

Fashion and hair have pretty much always been my thing.

These days, after age, stress, menopause and some extra weight, my wardrobe consists of a whole lot more black and a whole lot more “hide everything and get s**t done.”

But I’m working on that.

My mom was the same way. She modeled and worked for a boutique when she was younger, so I guess this stuff has always just been in my blood.

So there’s your random fun fact about me today. Just a Vance girl from the Appalachians who has always liked being a little different.

I’m looking for an up-and-coming hairstylist who might want to be part of a fun event I’m putting together at Foxy Doll this November.

This would be perfect for a newer stylist who’s looking to get their name out there, showcase what they can do, make some new connections and get a little more exposure in the community.

Okay, I’ve been playing around with some of my own graphic ideas for future Foxy Doll/Ink Recoil pieces and trying to come up with designs that mix our country-rocker style with a little Wisconsin.

These are just concepts right now, but I’m curious…
