Dear God, thank You for this day and for mercies that are new every morning. Thank You for the simple things, the fresh air I breathe, the ability to move my body, and the everlasting joy that only You can give. Your word in Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” God, I’m acknowledging You in everything today, not just some situations, so that You can direct every single step I take. Help me put on the full armor of God and stay alert so the enemy doesn’t find an opening in my life. I claim Your promise that You’ve never seen the righteous forsaken, and I’m stepping confidently into this day knowing You’re holding my hand. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand. -Psalm 37:23-24

Dear God, thank You for this new day and for being a God I can trust even when I don’t know what to do. Your word in Psalm 56:3 says, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” God, just like David, I’m not going to pretend I don’t feel afraid sometimes, but I’m making the same decision he made today. I’m choosing to trust You in the middle of it. Faith isn’t the absence of fear, it’s choosing to trust You anyway, and that’s what I’m doing right now. When fear tries to move in today and I don’t have all the answers, remind me to pause and say, “God, I trust You.” Help me lean not on my own understanding and acknowledge You in every decision I make today. I know You’ll direct my path. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
