BEFORE ➡️ AFTER: Sometimes, it’s the little things that make a big difference! 👣
Dry brushing followed by lotion made a noticeable difference in the appearance of this foot. But healthy skin is about more than just appearance!
When skin becomes excessively dry, flaky, and cracked, it can become more vulnerable to breakdown, sores, and infection. This is especially important for people who have swelling, reduced mobility, or spend a lot of time on their feet.
Keeping skin moisturized helps maintain its protective barrier, improve flexibility, and reduce cracking. Healthy skin also supports overall foot health and can make the feet look and feel less dry and irritated.
A simple routine:
🦶 Gently dry brush to loosen dead skin.
🧴 Apply a good moisturizer to help maintain hydration.
💧 Check your feet regularly for cracks, sores, redness, or other changes.
A quick reminder: Dry brushing should be gentle and avoided over open wounds, fragile skin, or areas with reduced sensation. Moisturizing helps protect the skin, but it doesn’t directly treat swelling. Persistent swelling or significant skin changes deserve further evaluation.
At Jump 4 Wellness, we look at the whole person, not just the pain. Small self-care habits can be an important part of staying healthy, comfortable, and active!

Medial knee pain can be extremely debilitating. It can make walking, going up and down stairs, standing, or even sitting uncomfortable.
There are several things that can cause pain on the inside of the knee, but one common issue I see is an overworked and irritated adductor muscle group. When the glutes aren't doing their job effectively, the adductors can end up working overtime, creating abnormal tension around the knee.
This is where addressing the muscles and mechanics around the knee becomes important.
Cupping, massage, gua sha, mobility work, and targeted exercises can all be useful tools for reducing irritation and improving how the hip, pelvis, and knee work together.
And yes, even if you've had the problem for 10+ years, it doesn't necessarily mean you're stuck with it.
If you're dealing with knee pain, Jump 4 Wellness is here to help. (520) 415-0747

🚨 Your neck pain might not actually be a “neck problem.”
One of the biggest contributors I see to upper back and neck pain is poor scapulohumeral rhythm—the way your shoulder joint and shoulder blade are supposed to work together when you move your arm.
When your shoulder has limited mobility or weakness, your shoulder blade has to compensate. The rhomboids and other scapular stabilizers may end up working overtime to create movement that the shoulder itself isn't providing.
Over time, that can lead to:
❌ Tightness between the shoulder blades
❌ Upper back pain
❌ Neck tension
❌ Headaches
❌ Pain with reaching or lifting
The solution isn't always to stretch or massage your neck.
👉 Sometimes you need to restore the movement at the shoulder that's causing your neck and upper back to work overtime.
Restore shoulder mobility. Improve scapular mechanics. Reduce the stress on your neck.
Don't just treat the painful area—find out WHY it's hurting.
At Jump 4 Wellness, I look at the entire movement system to identify the underlying dysfunction and address the root cause.

People often ask, 'What is Gua Sha?' Think of your skin as a highway for blood and energy. When you have deep-seated stagnation or scar tissue, that highway gets clogged. We use Gua Sha to agitate those deep tissues and bring that stagnation to the surface. It might look like a bruise or a road rash, but that’s just stagnant blood moving out so fresh, oxygenated blood can get in. We’re essentially 'Roto-Rooting' the tissue to clear the path for your body to heal itself.
Comment "gua sha" down below if you're ready to get out of pain for good!

You don’t need an injection. You need better mechanics.
I’ve spent two decades being an "encyclopedia" for my patients because I refuse to accept "it’s just aging" as an answer. Whether it’s TMJ relief, hip mobility, or recovering from surgery, my goal is to restore your movement through high-leverage manual therapy and precise biomechanics.
I don’t take insurance because I don’t let providers dictate your recovery. I work for you.
