Now for where I’m headed 🤎
The last few months have brought a lot of changes, a lot of thinking, and a lot of figuring out what I actually want my life to look like.
After years of owning a salon, I made the decision to step away from ownership and simplify. Beginning November 1, I’ll be working out of my own private studio - ‘Clover Cove by Libby’.
And yes, Clover is coming with me 🤎 The name means too much to me to leave behind. Clover has become something really personal — a little connection to my aunt, my kids, and myself all wrapped into one. It represents the people I love most, where I’ve come from, and the parts of myself I want to carry with me into whatever comes next. So when I started thinking about this new little space, I knew I wasn’t ready to leave Clover behind. Clover Cove felt like the perfect way to let it grow with me.
Clover Cove feels like exactly what I need now…smaller, quieter, cozier, and more personal. A space that feels calm and peaceful for both me and my clients.
And because apparently one major life change wasn’t enough 👀 I’m also working toward getting my real estate license.
This one feels a little scary, a little exciting, and very much like the start of a new chapter. I’ve been craving growth, new opportunities, a little more financial freedom, and honestly… just the chance to see what I’m capable of outside of the world I’ve known for so long.
So that’s where I’m at:
still doing hair,
starting something new,
simplifying a lot,
and trusting that I’m heading in the right direction.
Here’s to carrying the pieces that still matter, making room for what’s next, and becoming a version of myself that feels a little more at home in her own life. 🤎

Extensions where?! 👀
That’s the whole point 😉 Seamless, blended, and looking like it grew right out of her head. The color match, the density, the movement… all of it. 🤌🏼
Good extensions shouldn’t scream “extensions” — they should just have everyone wondering how your hair got that good. ✨

A little update to my school-year schedule 🤍
I know I just shared my fall hours, so changing them already doesn’t feel great — but after working through school pickup, childcare, and our family schedule, I’ve realized I need to make a small adjustment before the school year starts.
My updated salon hours will be:
Tuesday 9–3
Wednesday 9–6
Thursday 9–3
I’ll also be opening limited Saturday appointments when my wedding schedule allows.
I know daytime appointments won’t work for everyone, and that’s honestly the hardest part of making this change. I never want my clients to feel like I’m not available for them, which is why I’m keeping Wednesdays as my later day and adding Saturdays when I can.
More than anything, I need a schedule that I can realistically and consistently maintain for my family in this season, and I really appreciate everyone who continues to grow and adjust with me. 🤍
If you typically need an evening appointment, I highly recommend prebooking Wednesdays as far in advance as possible and keeping an eye out for Saturday openings.
Thank you for always being so understanding.

A little housekeeping that I probably should have posted approximately 5 years ago 😂🤍
I finally put all of my booking info + salon policies in one easy place so there’s never any guessing about appointments, cancellations, weather days, sick days, adjustments, or all the little things in between.
Nothing scary or overly serious — just a few guidelines that help me keep my days running smoothly, give every client the time and attention they deserve, and balance this little business with being a mom.
Please take a minute to swipe through, and I’ll also be saving everything to my Helpful Info highlight so it’s always easy to find.
As always, if you’re ever unsure about something, just text me. 🤍

Back to school means back to our school-year routine around here 🤎
As much as I love being behind the chair, being a mom comes first, and I’m so grateful to have a career that allows me to build my schedule around both.
My school-time salon hours will be:
Tuesday • 9–6
Wednesday • 9–6
Thursday • 9–2
With a more limited schedule, prebooking is highly encouraged, especially if you prefer a specific day or time.
Here’s to a new school year, new routines, and lots of good hair in between. ✨

Some people come into your life exactly when you need them, even if you didn’t know you were looking.
Meet Brooke. ✨
Bringing her onto my team has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. What started as a potential mentorship has quickly turned into finding someone I genuinely can’t imagine doing this without. She’s thoughtful, dependable, eager to learn, and has become such an incredible part of creating the experience I want every client to have.
You’ll be seeing Brooke alongside me behind the chair, helping appointments run smoothly and making sure every guest feels cared for from start to finish. She truly has a heart for this industry, and I couldn’t be more grateful she’s part of this journey.
And exciting news…Brooke is also accepting clients of her own! If you’ve been looking for an appointment, especially on weekends, you can now book with her directly through our online booking. I know you’re going to love her just as much as I do.
Welcome to the team, B. ☘️✨
