It is about time that healthcare providers get on the same page and recognize that women deserve to be heard, understood, and TREATED for their individual needs — and YES, that includes HORMONES!! 🙌💗

But let's be real for a minute…
Hormone replacement therapy is NOT just about hot flashes, night sweats, or difficulty sleeping!

Hormonal changes can affect SO many aspects of a woman's physical, mental, and emotional well-being!

We are talking about:
🌸 Joint pain and stiffness
🌸 Recurrent urinary tract infections
🌸 Vaginal dryness and discomfort
🌸 Changes in skin elasticity and collagen
🌸 Hair thinning and hair loss
🌸 Brain fog and difficulty concentrating
🌸 Mood changes, irritability, and anxiety
🌸 Decreased libido
🌸 Painful in*******se
🌸 Changes in body composition and abdominal fat

As healthcare providers, we need to do better. We need to LISTEN when women tell us something doesn't feel right. We need to educate ourselves on the changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause, and we need to stop dismissing symptoms simply because a woman's laboratory results fall within a "normal" range.

Hormone replacement therapy isn't appropriate for every woman, and it isn't a magical solution to every symptom. But for appropriately selected women, it can be LIFE-CHANGING! Certain hormone therapies can relieve menopausal symptoms, protect bone health, and improve genitourinary symptoms. The treatment needs to be individualized because not every symptom responds to hormones, and the benefits and risks vary.

Women deserve OPTIONS. Women deserve EDUCATION. Women deserve to be HEARD.
And most importantly, women deserve healthcare providers who are willing to look beyond the obvious symptoms and consider the WHOLE person.
