One reason I often recommend vitamin injections as part of a comprehensive hair restoration plan is because hair growth doesn’t happen in isolation.

When I evaluate hair loss, I’m not just thinking about the scalp. I’m also considering factors such as nutritional deficiencies, chronic stress, systemic inflammation, immune function, and oxidative stress—all of which can influence the environment where hair grows.

To be clear, vitamin injections are not a treatment for CCCA, nor do they reverse scarring hair loss.

Primary treatment should focus on addressing the inflammatory process and protecting the follicle.

Supportive therapies may help optimize the body’s ability to heal and support healthy follicular function while that process is taking place.

That’s why I don’t just focus on the scalp.
