One of my favorite things about this journey is watching starter locs grow into mature, beautiful traditional locs.

She started with 2 strand starter locs, and look at her now! 😍 Her locs have expanded beautifully, the integrity of each loc is intact, and those parts… BABY! 🤌🏾 Clean, crisp, and still doing exactly what they were designed to do.

A solid foundation will always show up months and years later. That’s why I tell my clients all the time… don’t rush the process. Trust it.

I also have to give flowers where they’re due. I’ve really been enjoying using Love My Locs Honey Hold It by Taliah Waajid. It gives me the hold I need without the heavy buildup, leaves the locs with a beautiful shine, and helps me deliver these clean retwists every time.
