I’ve been using Celluma LED Light Therapy in the treatment room since 2019 and last month, I upgraded my equipment to the new Celluma ELITE device. Why? I feel as strongly as I did in 2019 that this treatment is highly effective for improving and maintaining the health of the skin when it comes to addressing the signs of aging and treatment of acne. Only now, add to that equation recent studies that have proven LED Therapy can also address certain types of male and female pattern hair loss. Thus, the reason for the new device…an upgrade to my original light panel that includes LED wavelengths specifically targeted to address stimulation of the scalp to enhance the delivery of nutrients and oxygen to the hair follicles. Red light therapy activates dormant hair follicles and promotes the proliferation of hair stem cells.
As with most of the holistic and natural solutions, results are not immediate. It takes time to re-activate the hair follicles and to recognize the benefits of this treatment. On average, it requires 16-24 sessions (at 30 minutes each) to achieve results. I hear the concerns daily. Perhaps the most impactful result of aging on the face is the sagging, “dragged-down” appearance we see when we look in the mirror. You know, that constant state of “looking tired” even when you’ve had enough rest?
The result of daily stress and tension in our facial muscles creates inflammation that inevitably leads to the presence of fibrotic tissue due to the lack of healthy, consistent lymph flow.
