I had a 2 day hair service on an elderly woman with waist long hair that was severely matted. I’m talking a pillow of matted hair to the scalp from ear to ear. She wasn’t comfortable with pictures but I want to share my experience. We spent 2 days dematting, followed by a deep clarifying treatment to remove built up dander, dust, dirt etc that hadn’t been addressed for months. The client left with her hair completely knot free, a nice protective braid, and education for the family on ways to avoid this happening again.

What we do isn’t always about beautiful hair. Sometimes is being a beautiful person and servicing others.
