First Responders Need to Learn to Put Ourselves FIRST!
When I say this I mean put your health and well being first including Physically, Mentally, Spiritually, and Emotionally. We are no good to others if we are not good to ourselves. Selfcare has taken a back seat for many of us between crazy shift work, poor eating, lack of exercise, poor coping habits like drinking, busy family lives. But SURVIVAL-in this career so you can go home to your family and make sure your shift does too means we have to be able to do this job at the various levels it requires. This is why I am back in the books to get those certs to properly teach my brothers and sisters that hold that line to take back their lives too💪🏾💙✝️👮🏽‍♀️

-The Gym Fit Today Is A Throwback To That Grade School Gym Uniform Vibe For Sure-(and a little secret-its Walmart and from the boys’ kids section) I hate when sweats that are used as a coverup come at a price tag that should be lifting the weights for me-and no Walmart doesn’t pay me to say it-I wear what I like and share what I want😘💪🏾

Just another WCW aka Woman Crushing It Wednesday-Just a Week and a half left in this chaotic chapter 40…we worked hard and had our struggles but we got through it. I may never have that perfect figure, ab defined stomach, or b***s that don’t need some support to hold em up-but what I do have is heart, faith, focus, and a mindset that screams WARRIOR.💪🏾🇺🇸💙
