It’s because I care more about your safety than chasing the newest trend.

Here’s what you should know:

🚩 Retatrutide is NOT FDA-approved yet. That means it hasn’t completed the full approval process for safety, efficacy, quality, and manufacturing standards.

🚩 No reputable 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy is legally compounding retatrutide right now. If someone is selling you “Reta,” ask yourself where it’s actually coming from. Many products marketed online are manufactured by unregulated laboratories, intended for research purposes only, or have unknown purity and potency.

🚩 You have no way to verify what’s actually in the vial. That means risks like contamination, incorrect dosing, impurities, or even receiving a completely different substance.

The truth is… most people don’t need a triple agonist.

We already have excellent medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide that have extensive clinical data, established safety profiles, and help patients achieve incredible results when paired with lifestyle changes.

Will I be excited when retatrutide is FDA-approved and available through legitimate channels? Absolutely. The early research is incredibly promising, and I can’t wait to have another evidence-based option for patients.

But until then, I’m choosing evidence over hype.

Weight loss meds are an approved treatment for obesity. It’s time we stop shaming others for trying to look and feel better.
