Peter Moodley - Hair Stylist

7 years ago I picked up from Boston and made my way here to Miami. I came with the goal of opening a new salon within two years

Well after learning a little more about Miami I knew that I wasn’t going to be able to just open an average salon. It was time to go all in “go big or literally go back home”.

So while it’s a little later than I had planned I’m proud to give you all a sneak peak at what we have created with .salon

Located at the salon will be 2500 sqft. Working with the team at the vision was to create a space with the best comforts and technology for both the visiting clients and the stylists employed

Some of these features include:

green star fully adjustable sinks. So no more getting wet no matter how tall or short you are. And for the stylist you get the oversized bowl attached to them for working with long hair.
Luxis chairs to keep you all as comfortable as possible during those long visits.

Personalized power for both the stylist and clients. Stylists will enjoy power for their tools located in the stations while clients will have a personal power port located in the station counter including wireless charging for your mobile device.

Can’t ever seem to find that right light? All the lighting within the salon is rated to art gallery standards with a 98+ CRI rating. In addition all our station vanity mirrors have the ability to adjust to warmer or cooler light based on your personal preference.

We will be stocking the salon with the finest brands. Using Majirel, Dia, Inoa and shades eq for color lines and and for your care and styling needs.

The Cause: Harley, a fun, sassy, young, and energetic puppy that loves everyone. This past week, still unsure how, Harley’s curiosity resulted in her getting over the railing and falling from the balcony 5 floors down to the pavement into moving traffic. This tragic accident resulted in multiple injuries including two pneumothorax, broken pelvis at the SI joint, a broken left leg radius, broken palate, and several cuts throughout her body. We were able to get her to a veterinary hospital to save her life but it is going to be a long and difficult road to recovery.

As we can all imagine, this is going to put a tremendous financial strain on Harley’s owner Jackie, a full time college student at the University of Miami rescued lovable Harley from the shelter. Ever since, she has been committed to giving her the best life possible. She has given Harley a family, friends, a social pup life, and most importantly a safe home. Harley’s well-being is Jackie’s top priority since the moment she rescued her, and now, she needs our help making sure that sweet Harley gets the treatments she needs to be back to her energetic and healthy self.
