“Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks”, a Biblical phrase to describe the true nature of a person. When I here someone say to a Black person, “you don’t belong” or “you don’t belong here” I know it is rooted is historical hate towards my people.

For JD Vance to tell Angie Nixon A BLACK WOMAN she doesn’t belong because she doesn’t believe what “they believe”, yeah you can make an inference based on the tone and tenor in which was said at that campaign rally

And to my Hispanic and Latin peeps who desire to be white-adjacent you need to stop telling this to Black people. It is used too often toward the Black community in South Florida

A little progress is progress. It’s been difficult completing the outside garden setup because it rains EVERYDAY! Like heavy rain 🌧️ so I told myself small completions will help me achieve the bigger goal 🥅

But yeah, 95% of the beds are laid out

If I haven’t said it, I inherited a property through survivorship and there is ALOT OF WORK to be done to upgrade. I’ve had the home completely to myself for the past year so I’ve invested A LOT of money to make upgrades. Also, fortunately, due to my past horrible contractor experiences, I’ve gotten some help from a local nonprofit.

Anywho, most of the time I’m in what I call “ugly mode” because I’m usually fixing SOMETHING 🪏😁

Today, I changed light fixtures. All the bulbs 💡 are motion sensor and light sensitive so when one or two are on, the other does not immediately come on due to the light sensitivity

I had every intention to be OUTSIDE playing in the dirt 😂 Nah, I wanted to continue working on my but it LITERALLY rained on my garden parade 😔

So, I was forced to stay inside and to finish putting my house back together and work on the other 50-11 projects that need to be completed

I’ve prolonged repotting my plant for the LONGEST. I FINALLY made time today to do it because some of the leaves from the bigger plant were starting to fall off.

When I pulled it from the soil there was this complex root system and it didn’t have space to grow.

Now, I have two 2️⃣ instead of one 1️⃣ 😁

Welp, I started to assemble the garden beds 😩 I didn’t know there were SO MANY screws!! And I had to do this for NINE 9️⃣ garden beds

As dreadful as it was I know it was worth it 😁
