Neural Therapy
A Different Way to Help the Body Heal
Many people think pain is only caused by damaged muscles or joints. But sometimes, the nervous system itself becomes ‘stuck’ in a cycle of pain, even after the original injury has healed.
Neural Therapy is designed to help reset abnormal nerve signaling. By using carefully placed injections with a local anesthetic in specific areas, we aim to reduce irritation in the nervous system and support the body’s natural healing process.
This treatment may help people with chronic neck pain, back pain, migraines, sciatica, joint pain, sports injuries, surgical scars, nerve pain, and other persistent pain conditions.
At AITPain – AcuActiv by Dr. Gavish, I often combine Neural Therapy with acupuncture, dry needling, electroacupuncture, and other integrative treatments to create a personalized plan that addresses the root cause of pain not just the symptoms.
Every patient is unique, which is why your treatment plan is tailored specifically to your condition

The real source of your headache may actually be hidden deep in your upper neck.
The muscles and joints at the base of your skull are closely connected to the nerves that transmit pain to your head. When these structures become tight, inflamed, or restricted, the pain can radiate upward causing headaches behind the eyes, across the forehead, around the temples, or even at the back of the head.
Many people treat the symptom with pain medication, but never address the underlying cause.
If your headaches are accompanied by neck stiffness, poor posture, or prolonged screen time, your upper cervical spine may be playing a significant role.
At AITPain–AcuActiv by Dr. Gavish, we focus on identifying the root cause and using natural, evidence-informed therapies to help restore proper function and relieve pain.
Save this video if you’ve ever experienced this pattern of headache, and share it with someone who needs to see it.

Meet the Piriformis: The Small Muscle That Can Cause Big Pain
Did you know that a tiny muscle deep in your hip can be responsible for pain that travels all the way down your leg?
The piriformis is a small muscle located deep in the buttock. It connects your sacrum (the base of your spine) to the top of your femur (thigh bone). Its job is to help rotate and stabilize your hip during walking, running, and everyday movement.
Just beneath this muscle runs the sciatic nerve, the largest nerve in your body.
When the piriformis becomes tight, inflamed, or overworked, it can irritate or compress the sciatic nerve, leading to a condition known as Piriformis Syndrome.
Common symptoms include:
• Deep pain in the buttock
• Burning or shooting pain down the back of the leg
• Tingling or numbness
• Pain that gets worse with prolonged sitting, climbing stairs, or running
A tiny muscle can have a big impact on how you move. Understanding the cause of your pain is the first step toward effective treatment and better mobility.
At AITPain Physician by Dr. Gavish, we focus on identifying the root cause of pain and providing personalized, non-surgical treatment options to help you move comfortably again.

Did you know that one nerve can influence your heart, digestion, immune system, stress levels, and even inflammation? It’s called the vagus nerve. When it’s functioning well, your body shifts into ‘rest and repair’ mode, supporting healing and recovery. Chronic stress can reduce vagal activity, affecting many body systems. Simple habits like deep breathing, quality sleep, regular exercise, and spending time in nature may help support healthy vagus nerve function. At AcuActiv by Dr. Gavish, we focus on supporting your body’s natural ability to restore balance and wellness.
