In regard to Perez Hilton and his live, I think it is important to recognize a mental health crisis can manifest in many forms. Do I think there was a dark and evil energy around him? Yes. I think that happens to anyone when experiencing something so disturbing. However, religion didn’t cause nor will it fix the situation. He really just needs a good support system and professional mental health assistance. The people acting like he needs an exorcism are only pushing people further into religious psychosis and shaming people for things they aren’t in control of. Two things can exist at once. There can be a dark energy lurking in his presence and he can also be the victim of a mental breakdown and one that was publicly shown. Also if you have not seen the footage, please do not look for its it is genuinely so sickening, sad, and traumatizing to consume. Let this be a sign to make sure you’re managing you’re real health and to check in on people you love because you never know when someone is on their last straw. Even though he has never been a decent human and has profited off of other celebrities episodes and trauma I still feel very sad for him and his family and I hope he gets the help and support he needs.
