When Sweet Pea hatched, we honestly didn’t know if she was going to make it. She couldn’t hold her head up, couldn’t move normally, and needed a whole lot of extra help just to get through those first weeks.

But this little girl had other plans. 💕

We fed her, cared for her, prayed over her, and watched her get a little stronger every day.

And now?

Sweet Pea is thriving — and apparently she has decided that being a guinea isn’t enough. She also needs to be an assistant. 😂📚

She is hands-down the friendliest guinea we have ever had. She wants to be with us, see what we’re doing, and, of course, supervise schoolwork whenever possible.

It’s pretty incredible to look at her now and remember that tiny baby who could barely lift her head.

Sometimes the ones who need a little extra help in the beginning turn out to be something really special. 💛

A much-needed rainy day here at Moonstone Meadows. 🌧️🤍

After so many busy days, there’s something about the rain that makes everything feel like it can slow down just a little.

The animals are tucked in, the pastures are getting a good drink, and we’re enjoying a quieter day around the homestead. 🌿🐴🐓

There’s always something that needs to be done around here, but today feels like a good reminder that not every day has to be about checking things off the list.

Sometimes you just need a rainy day. 🤍

Meet Lucy! 🤎

Lucy is the newest member of the Moonstone Meadows family, and she came to us from Broken Road Equine Rescue & Sanctuary. We’re so thankful for the work they do and for giving horses like Lucy the opportunity to find a loving home. ❤️

She’s settling in, getting to know everyone, and already getting plenty of love and attention around here. We’re so excited to have her and can’t wait to share more of Lucy with you as she settles into life at the Meadows.

Moonstone Meadows has become so much more than soaps and skincare. It’s our animals, our family, things made by hand, and this crazy little homestead life we’re building along the way. 🌿

One of my favorite parts of creating products for Moonstone Meadows is taking an idea in my head and finally seeing the finished bars sitting on the curing rack. 🤎

These little imperfections are actually one of the things I love most about handmade soap. Every swirl, oat and hand-cut bar is a little different.

Our fall soaps started with one goal: make something that feels like fall on the homestead. 🍂

Warm, simple, cozy ingredients and scents — nothing that feels overly fancy or complicated.
