The Mullein extract everyone have been asking for is here!! There’s something special about knowing where your plant medicine comes from and that’s why I grew this one right here on our homestead.

Meet Mullie.. she is my mullein plant that I grew naturally, without any interference from me other than watching her and waiting. I watched her grow from a tiny seedling into a beautiful, healthy plant, and when it was finally time to harvest her, I took only what I needed. It felt like a full-circle moment.

I wanted to make this the best extract I possibly could, so I used an alcohol intermediary extraction before finishing it in vegetable glycerin. That extra step helps pull more of the plant’s beneficial constituents than glycerin alone. The alcohol does its job during the extraction process, then evaporates away, leaving a rich, alcohol-free glycerite.

One of the most requested remedies we’ve ever made is finally back.

Every year, I personally head out to harvest the wild lettuce that goes into this formula. It’s not something I order from a supplier or buy already dried. I wait until the plants reach the right stage, then harvest them by hand before slowly extracting them myself. That’s one of the reasons these drops are only available for a limited time each year.

Wild lettuce has been traditionally used for centuries to help the body find comfort during times of occasional discomfort and to encourage relaxation. It even earned the nickname “poor man’s o***m” not because it’s related to o***m (it isn’t), but because people historically turned to it when they wanted a natural way to unwind and find relief.

Once the extraction is finished, it becomes one of my favorite remedies to keep on hand because it’s so versatile.

I make one with alcohol which is little more potent and I make one that is alcohol free.

You can take it internally or apply it topically, depending on how you choose to use it. Many of our customers tell us they begin noticing the effects in about 10–15 minutes, making it one of the faster-acting herbal extracts we make.
