Okay, some of your guesses had me thinking I need to work a little harder! 😂 You all guessed WAY higher than the actual number

The answer is…12!🎉

So far this year, I’ve completed 12 perms—and I had five more scheduled that I couldn’t safely perform because their test strands didn’t pass. That means 17 perm appointments were requested in just seven months!

Perms are definitely still alive and well—you just have to find a stylist who loves doing them and has the knowledge to protect the health of your hair. 🖤

✨ Today's Featured Client ✨

Today's featured client is someone who is incredibly special to me. 💕

I've had the privilege of doing her hair since she was just 3 years old! Back then, she was all about the fun pastel colors, and thankfully she had the perfect mom who trusted me to let her have a little fun (within reason, of course! 😉). Her hair was so naturally blonde that those colors would fade right back out.

Now that she's getting older, her natural color is starting to darken...and she has made it very clear that she wants to stay blonde! 😄

The best part? At just 10 years old, she already understands how important it is to keep her hair healthy. That makes this stylist's heart so happy!

To keep her looking bright while protecting the integrity of her hair, we added soft, natural-looking highlights for beautiful dimension without overdoing it.

And can we just take a moment to appreciate the results?! 😍 Look at that gorgeous blonde, the natural dimension, and most importantly...look how healthy and shiny her hair is!

Healthy hair will always be my priority, no matter your age. 💛

Grey blending is a journey... and this was a beautiful first step! 🤍

This new client came to me wanting a softer, more natural transition into her grey. Her biggest concerns were the line of demarcation from previous color and some heavier blonde pieces that no longer felt natural.

Together, we chose a demi-permanent color to create a softer blend that will grow out beautifully while protecting the health of her hair. We also left her naturally white front pieces alone since they had been previously lightened and were too fragile to color safely.

The result? A softer, more natural look with toned-down warmth and a healthier grow-out plan.

I can't wait to see her back for round two as we continue creating the grey blend she's envisioning! ✨

When a client says, "I want a halo color with a rich copper..." my answer is always... YES! 😍🧡

Anyone who knows me knows I have a soft spot for beautiful copper tones. My mom was a natural redhead, and this color always reminds me of her. Hers was just a touch lighter, especially later in life when her natural silver highlights started weaving their way through. ❤️

So when a client wants to add a little fun while still keeping it classy, I'm all in!
