Tallow for the Common Good. Made in small batches with intention and care.
A gentle reminder before you get too deep into your feed: you cannot control the news, the traffic, or the absolute circus of daily life. But you can protect your mind. Let’s trade the algorithm's anxiety for a peace that doesn't even make logical sense. Drink some tea, look at the sun, and remember who holds your heart today. 🤍
"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." — Phil. 4:7

Just playing around with some watercolour graphics while I ponder my business plan. The reflection today in an app I listen to daily (Catholic Daily Reflections) hit me hard and I wanted to share.
"It's easy to come up with our own plans in life. We might want to save up money, succeed at work, have a family, form friendships, retire at a certain age, and enjoy many good things. Though all these can be good and might well be part of God's plan, we must not presume upon His will. With humility, we must continually seek His guidance, remain open to His promptings, and surrender our plans to the providence of the One who knows what will truly bear fruit for eternity. Reflecting on the radical change of life to which Jesus called the Twelve invites us to consider whether Jesus also desires a radical change in our own lives."
For myself, even though I can't really say I ever actually had a plan for my life's direction, I admit I always had a notion. And never, never did it contain all that has happened to me in the last two years. Or honestly the last six. So while I write a business "plan" for my company, I just hope I am creating guardrails for the path God has chosen for me to walk.

We aren't meant to take but to give, to serve. The charities desperately in need of your support now include SoiDog Soi Dog Foundation and Humane World Humane World for Animals as they AT THIS MOMENT are on the ground fighting to rescue dogs from the brutal Yulin Chinese dog torture and slaughter.
The USCCB scripture passage for daily masses for June 19, 2026:
Matthew 6:19-21
"Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,
where moth and decay destroy, and thieves break in and steal.
But store up treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor decay destroys, nor thieves break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be."
