This is my “not so submission” for The Lash Ritual | Professional Color Lash Extensions & Borboleta Pro LashOWeen virtual competition. I am one of the 9 other lash babes you’ll be competing with if you win! 🖤


First I want to thank Dana DeMarco | Color Lash Artist & Brand Owner for recognizing just how hard I worked on my Prince set and offering me the seat! It pretty much made my year 🩷

The moment I saw the theme for this virtual competition Garnet immediately popped into my mind. She is the incredibly strong and pragmatic leader of the crystal gems from the cartoon Steven Universe. If you haven’t seen the show i strongly suggest you do because it may just change you emotionally ✨

Garnet is a gem fusion of two other gems Sapphire and Ruby. They are two gems who love one another deeply and their love created Garnet. ❤️ Ruby has two eyes and Sapphire has one, giving Garnet three eyes. Her third eye can see into the future and its possibilities ✨

Garnet may be red-purple but we can tell she is clearly also a melanated baddie 😉 so of course I had to ask this gorgeous Queen Emily Rose to be my model! Thank you so much sis for helping me make this vision come to life! 🖤

Full disclosure, I actually had forgotten that today was my 9th lash birthday 🙃 My fantastic and thoughtful boo Gabe is who remembered and grabbed me a cake and a candle 😭🖤
