Well, it’s official. It finally feels like a real December and snow is upon us.
As I have grown older, I have found joy in all the seasons. I hold close the muffled night time sounds as the snow is falling and covering the earth. I breathe in the fresh air and feel it on my cheeks. I smile as the snow sparkles in the sun.
Winter is cozy, winter is slow, winter is time for rest. It’s a season to go inward and recover from the busy times we’ve had. We find it easier to give our bodies permission to sleep more. Only moving if we truly must.
Listen to your body this season. Trust it and lean into the messages it may be sharing with you. ✨
