One minute your skin is happy. Then the leaves start falling from the trees, the temperature drops, the humidity disappears, and your face is dry, tight, flaky, sensitive or somehow all of the above..?

I want you to know your skin isn’t the problem. The environment shifted.

Join me for a virtual class designed to help your skin stay healthy and hydrated as Minnesota moves into the oh so fun cool and subzero weather.

We’ll start with a self skin analysis so you can see what’s going on with your skin. Then we’ll then dive into…

The biggest fall skincare mistakes, including the things you may be doing to “fix” dry skin that can actually make it worse.
How to build a simple fall skin strategy.
The four priorities to focus on as the seasons change.
When professional guidance and customized skincare can make more sense than buying yet another product.
Plus Q+A time to answer your skincare questions!

Collagen production starts slowing down somewhere around 26 or 27, that's biology. If you're past that, you're not behind but you are in a different stage of care.

Now is a great time to start caring for your skin! Through September 30, every 60 and 90 min Glo2 facial comes with a complimentary lymphatic drainage add-on so your skin and your nervous system get the love they deserve at once.

Get glowing, healthy skin by heading to the link in my bio and booking your facial today.

Your skin doesn't age on a straight line, bur rather in bursts!

A 2024 Stanford study tracked over 100 people for years and found that most aging markers don't shift gradually, but cluster around two specific ages: 44 and 60.

The takeaway? Build resilience before you hit these windows, not after you notice the changes.

Want to know exactly what you should be doing for your skin's timeline? Head to the blog for the full breakdown, the link is in the comments below.

It's not about changing your skin, but how you feel in your skin.

Through September 30th, every 60 and 90 min GLO2 Facial comes with complimentary lymphatic drainage. It's the perfect add-on if you're looking to de-puff, boost circulation, and leave feeling extra refreshed.

Come see me (you can book using the link in the comments) so we can make you feel as good as you look!

Retinol and tretinoin are both vitamin A. Same family, different molecule, but different chain length.

Tretinoin has a shorter molecular chain, so it hits the skin faster and harder. That's why it can work quickly, but it's also why people get the redness, peeling, and irritation. Which is no fun.

Retinol has a longer chain, so it takes a bit longer to get into those same receptors. It yeilds the same results, but at a slower pace.

Bottom line: tretinoin isn't "better" and retinol isn't "weaker." They're different tools for different skin, and neither one should feel scary once you know how they actually work.

Curious which one fits your skin? Send me a message.

If you didn't hear already, here's a new ingredient in sunscreen on the shelves. So before you stock up for the last bit of summer and fall (yes, you should wear sunscreen in September and beyond) here's what you need to know.

Bemotrizinol is a broad-spectrum chemical filter that absorbs both UVA and UVB radiation. It can be found under the brand name Parsol Shield. Broader availability follows in 2027.

If you're looking to restock your sunscreen supply, here are the three sunscreens by Dermalogica I always keep in rotation, because they each solve a different problem:

Invisible Physical Defense (Mineral SPF 30)
My go-to for sensitive, redness-prone skin. Zinc oxide, no fragrance or chalky finish. It layers beautifully under makeup.

Porescreen Mineral Sunscreen (Mineral SPF 40)
SPF protection that doubles as a pore-blurring primer. If sunscreen has ever felt like "one more step," in your morning routine, this cuts it down to one.

Bio-Lumin C Heat Aging Protector (Chemical SPF 50)
SPF 50 + a vitamin C punch, so you're blocking new damage and fighting oxidative stress at the same time.

Head to my blog if you want to dig deeper into sunscreen and it's vital role skincare. It's linked in the comments below.

Things I find kinda chic as an integrative esthetician.

People want a quick fix. Lasers, injections, a serum. But skin and the nervous system are integrated.

Treat one without the other and you’re only ever managing the surface!

That's why I'm adding complimentary lymphatic drainage to every Glo2 Facial through September 30. Your skin and your nervous system, worked on together, not separately.

Book yours before wedding season books it out for you!

Inflammation goes up and barrier function goes downthe moment your nervous system feels unsafe. No product can out-argue that.

This is why I read how someone's holding their body before I ever touch their skin. Regulate first, then the skin follows.

One outdated skincare rule I'd love to leave in the dust: "wash your face twice a day."

For most skin types, cleansing before bed is what matters, that's when you're removing the day. You wake up with clean skin. So why wash it again?

Not everything is for everybody, including a rule that simple.

Have questions about skin care? Drop them below in the comments and I'll share my perspective.
