Why I love building lips up slowly?
💉 Filler takes time to fully settle and integrate with our tissue (sometimes weeks) so giving plenty of time in between sessions allows me to get more clear picture of how YOUR tissue responds and heals
💉 Sometimes, if our lips are on the smaller side, trying to force large amounts of filler in one sitting when it is not indicated can create unbalanced and unnatural results
💉 Depending on your lip tissue TYPE, we may need to go in with a softer and more hydrating filler first before we use a firmer filler that helps add more structure
💉 Achieving natural results that will age well requires a lot of patience and restraint. Sometimes we have to wait a few weeks to a few months before adding more filler.

Let’s talk about facial balancing because that phrase gets thrown around a lot and no one really explains what it TRULY is so here we go ⬇️

Facial balancing is an umbrella term we use to describe any treatment (or combination of treatments) to achieve a more harmonious or refreshed look. We can use tox, filler, or even biostimulators to help our patients feel more confident with their appearance. Facial balancing is NOT supposed to change your anatomy or make you look like a different person. The goal is to keep your natural features preserved and only enhance what you already have.

This beautiful patient asked me to give her an honest assessment and together we identified subtle volume loss to her piriform (the little triangles you see next to her nose), slight smile line folds beginning to form, and mild shadowing to the sides of her chin. Again, I am not here to point out any flaws. I love working together with my patients to come up with a plan based on their areas of concern or long term goals. Today’s goal = look a little more rested. That’s it.
