As artists, we can sometimes be our own harshest critics questioning our talent, comparing our journey, and wondering if what we create is ever enough. But resilience is choosing to keep creating anyway. Persistence is showing up for the art, even when we don’t feel inspired, confident, or understood.
We create because something inside of us needs to be expressed. We create to heal pieces of ourselves, to turn our experiences into something beautiful, and to make sense of the things we cannot always put into words. And sometimes, the art we create for ourselves becomes the very thing that makes someone else feel seen, understood, inspired, or alive.
So keep creating. Keep experimenting. Keep failing, growing, starting over, and trying again. Your art does not have to be perfect to be powerful. Sometimes, simply having the courage to create is the masterpiece. 🖤🎨✨

I had the honor of doing some festival braids for my client going to Burning Man! I had set a goal to attract more braiding clients and I literally manifested my client. I love being able to help my rave babies with feeling more confident with their hair and having hair that will slay the dance floor!
