Robyn Stoetzel RN BSN graduated from Nursing school in 1995 and specialized in Hematology-Oncology including Bone Marrow Transplant. Robyn traveled across the US serving as a Traveling Nurse until she settled in Chicago to raise her 1 year old daughter as a single Mom. Robyn furthered her career as a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and worked as a Risk Manager for Rush University Medical Center. Robyn completed advanced education as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management through American Society of Healthcare Risk Management(ASHRM) during the 5 years with Rush. During her time at Rush, she continued to work as a Traveling Nurse on the weekends to make ends meet for her and her daughter. Robyn met her husband, Dr. Paul Stoetzel DC in 2000 and they married in 2003. Her husband then adopted her daughter and they had 2 more children, a boy and a girl. Robyn and Dr. Paul moved to the south suburbs to raise their growing family. Dr. Paul is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and owner/operator of Stoetzel’s Planet Chiropractic in Lemont Illinois. It was Dr. Paul who began educating Robyn on natural approaches to health and healing. This began to peak Robyn’s interest in furthering her education as a Holistic Nurse. Robyn was forced to hit the “Natural Health World” research hard when their son at 2 years old began having health issues. The skin would literally peel off the bottoms of his feet. He would complain of severe pain in his back, joints, feet and eyes. At one point, Doctors at Children’s Memorial Hospital, questioned Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lyme’s Disease. Her son had multiple sensitivities to chemical food dyes, preservatives, molds, and perfumes. He also began have sensitivities to sounds, specifically, loud noises. It was at this time in Robyn’s life that she was determined to find out what was causing her son to have these severe symptoms. The medical model she knew well and was well trained in was giving her no answers or solutions she was willing to try. To help her son, Robyn furthered her career studying natural medicine including aromatherapy, homeopathy, herbology, healing touch and energy medicine. She traveled the US searching for the answers to her sons health concerns. Robyn was successful in finding those answers! What she found out was the problem was not ONE cause. The problem was multiple CAUSES. What it came down to was her son was toxic! Robyn describes this as “The Perfect Storm”. A perfect storm occurs when a combination of circumstances all come together in exactly the right timing to create a powerful & incredible storm. The perfect storm began to hit her son before he was even born. Robyn was tested for toxicities and learned she had passed these toxins in utero unbeknownst to her. The next hit came with a traumatic birth due to her son weighing 10.5 lbs, causing pressure on his spinal cord, that was not found until he was 2 years old. This pressure was specifically coming from the top bone of his spine that sits right next to the brain stem, called C1. The pressure, caused by the birth process, was not allowing his nervous system to function properly; therefore, he could not handle his environment. Although Robyn did not know it at the time, her son's environment was filled with toxic chemicals from his food, outdoor environment and even their home. It wasn’t until Robyn and her husband began addressing these causes that their son finally got well! By the age of 4 he no longer had symptoms related to Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lyme’s Disease or PDD-NOS! Their hard work of research and studying paid off! Many prayers were answered! Their son is now 12 years old, a star athlete, student and one of the healthiest of all 3 of their children! Though Robyn explains this period of her life as the most stressful, painful and exhausting time, she states she would not change it for the world. Robyn began to realize that what her son was going through, many, many other children and adults were experiencing the same Perfect Storm. She now believes that the majority of childhood and adult diseases today are caused by the bioaccumulation of toxins, poor diet and stress on the nervous system. Due to this part of Robyn’s life, she began to dedicate her time to helping others find the causes and answers to their health issues. She believes her entire journey was part of God’s perfect plan to allow her to serve others so they too can live the life they were meant to have. Robyn is now on a mission to change the way people view and manage their health. Robyn completed advanced training and certifications through Defeat Autism Now, Autism Research Institute, The Institute of Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy, Stimulus Response Testing with Biomeridan and Zyto, Designs for Health Clinician Training, and several other advanced courses in natural health. Robyn has been serving patients as a natural health nurse since 2008 within her husband’s chiropractic clinic and is the owner and operator of Natural Nurse Robyn LLC. She travels as an educator and speaker spreading the message of what TRUE HEALTH means.
